The Roosevelt Escape Room is an 90 minute team building and problem solving experience located in the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. A group of 6 to 10 colleagues must work together, communicate, and collaborate in order to solve the mysteries of the room and discover the secret way out. It’s challenging — but a lot of fun.
Teams will want to discuss what they did right — and what they missed — after the experience. Did they listen to each other? Did they work together? How did they determine who would do what during the experience? Did they collaborate to solve puzzles? How did each team member contribute? What may have tripped them up?
Group Scheduling
If your team is larger than 10, your group will need to split up into two or more teams and play separate games. The Roosevelt Escape Room and the Great Houdini Room can be booked for the same time slot so that two teams (up to 10 players each) can play concurrently, accommodating up to a total of 20 players simultaneously.
For groups larger than 20, an additional room or rooms will need to be reserved to accommodate your whole party. Please contact us at [email protected] if you wish to discuss options for a group larger than 20.
We currently have two rooms available – one Houdini Room and one Roosevelt Room. It is not possible for us to host any more than two rooms at time.

Additional Activities
There are plenty of additional entertainment options in and around the Palace of Fine Arts for groups looking to extend their visit, or to entertain members one group while another is playing the room.
ClueKeeper Palace Hunt
The puzzle hunt takes groups around the beautiful lagoon at the Palace of Fine Arts and will take about an hour to play. It is played using the free ClueKeeper app available for iPhone and Android. The hunt itself costs $10 per team.
Surrounding Area
The Palace grounds are lovely for a stroll and the beach and Crissy Field are a close walk away (across the street). The House of Air (trampolines) and Planet Granite (indoor rock climbing) are in the Crissy Field area. The Palace is also adjacent to the Presidio — home to the Disney Family Museum and the Letterman lagoon and lawn. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the surrounding area — in the Presidio and on Chestnut Street especially — that are great for groups.
